A 1914-1918 War Medal to Arthur Patrick Crane, with service #724015, who signed up with the 109th Overseas Battalion CEF, on February 12, 1916. Born in Chatham, England, Crane listed his brother Pte. Harry Crane as his next-of-kin, with the 77th Battalion, Ottawa. NOTE: metal is without suspension clasp, and has been rather severely abused with seemingly deliberate chiseling to the edges. Fortunately, there is enough surviving text to identify the recipient, as follows: "724015 .A.P. CRANE 1_9 - CAN. INF." Offered together with a copy of Crane's Attestation Paper.
