A pair of pure Silver "Argenteus Ducat" medals struck in Germany for the 1976 Montreal Olympics, believed designed by Werner Graul, as follow: (1) "1 Ducat" 35mm, 15.2 grams; (2) "3 Ducats" 50mm, 44.8 grams. Both identical in design, and struck to a Proof finish with light scratch at bottom right on reverse (portrait side) of the larger piece. An attractive pair, with net silver content of 1.93 oz.
