A 28cm tall trophy in Sterling Silver, composed of a cup supported by a trio of crossed silver curling brushes, presented to the Curling Clubs of Montreal for the 1890-92 seasons. Subsequently awarded to the Caledonia, Montreal, and Thistle clubs respectively, and finally to the Caledonia Club in 1893 "by 8 Shots". A remarkable piece of Canadian curling history that should clean up nicely with care and patience (including the cup interior which retains its gold gilt). With gross weight of 585 grams, and net Silver content of 17.4 oz.
