A 1914-1918 Allied Victory Medal with suspension ring (no ribbon), impressed to "234458 PTE. H. CLAPSON 44-CAN INF." (Manitoba). A native of London, England, Private Harry Clapson enlisted at Tugaske, Saskatchewan, and was killed in action on April 12, 1917, at the age of 37, with his name recorded on the Vimy Memorial.
