A 1914-1918 Allied Victory Medal, with suspension eyelet at top (missing ring and ribbon), impressed to "84281 GNR. A.W. COOKE. C.F.A.". Alexander Winer Cooke was born in Acton, Ontario, enlisting on May 4, 1915 at the age of 23. He appears on the roll of the 4th Brigade, Canadian Field Artillery, Canadian Expeditionary Force, with next-of-kin address in Hamilton. EF
