A 19mm "GOOD FOR 5 [Cents] IN MERCHADISE" token with an ornate aluminum plug at the center of a brass host, text around obverse rims: "A.C.L. CORPORATION / GEORGETOWN S.C.", with signature of Assistant Treasurer ("ASST. TREAS") at aluminum center - a signature and title that does not appear among the few examples documented on the "tokencatalog" website. Attributed to the Atlantic Coast Lumber company, incorporated in 1903 and bankrupt in 1932, after becoming the largest lumber-producing plant on the East coast. An intriguing token visually, and possibly quite scarce
