A 39mm, 18.8 gram medal in Sterling Silver, familiar obverse design from the common brass issue: official B.C. Centennial emblem of stylized grouping of the three "C's" for "Canada", "Confederation", and "Centennial", with Provincial floral Dogwood emblem at center; Reverse, however, is a numismatic calling card for Norman Williams, with text at center: "STUDENT OF / NUMISMATICS / NORMAN W. WILLIAMS", and further text around upper and lower rims: "I was born in British Columbia / The Greatest Place in the World to Live". With antiqued surfaces, and a small note indicating that only 10 examples of the piece were struck in Silver.
