A 39mm, 1 oz .999 Silver medallion, struck by Johnson-Matthey for the Canada Dry Company. Rev: the great "Canada Dry" shield, weight/fineness and JM mark below; Obv: bust of J.J. McLaughlin at center, cursive script around upper rim: "This is Truly the Champagne of Ginger Ales". Lightly-toned, with notable hairlines throughout from an earlier cleaning, housed in original plush case with certificate #0942. Only the second example we've handled of this scarcer corporate round. (this item is HST-exempt in Canada)
