A lot of six varied medals, as follows: (1) Dominion of Canada Rifle Association, 35mm round medal in matte-finished, tested .900 Silver, 34.1 grams including tested suspension bar; (2) Dominion of Canada Rifle Association, 43mm round brass(?), Rev: two early riflemen greeting each other, Obv: text at center, "PRESENTED / BY THE / DOMINION OF CANADA / RIFLE ASSOCIATION / 1868"; with some scattered patches of verdigris; (3) Dominion of Canada Rifle Association, a small 29mm copper medal by Birks with slightly-scalloped edges, raised logo on front with some residual enameling, back blank other than impressed "BIRKS" at bottom and crudely-engraved "19 / WCI(?)" at center; (4) 1934 Toronto Centennial medal/plaque by Lackie Mfg Co., 42x58mm, 56.3 grams in tested Fine Silver, Rev: seated allegorical female figure, facing left and crowning a kneeling male athlete before her, raised text below: "TORONTO / CENTENNIAL", and at very top: "CHAMPIONSHIP", flag/shield neat top with Beaver atop Crown at center, "1834 / 1934" to left and right. Back blank, other than raised text near top: "PRESENTED / BY THE / CITY OF TORONTO", together with makers name at bottom; antiqued finish, and an attractive piece; (5) Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, Second Battalion - 38mm plated bronze Shooting medal at Sennelager Military Training Base in Germany; engraved on back: "2 PPCLI / SKILL AT ARMS / SENNELAGER / 1969 / BEST ARMD. DEF. DET."; on narrow green and beige neck ribbon; (6) France Union of Farriers, 40mm bronze medal by H. Degeorge, Rev: Horses in pasture, etc. Paris Mint, with mm and "BRONZE" impressed on outer rim. (Lot of 6 medals, with net Silver content of 2.79 oz)
