An interesting 22x18.5cm sheet (or partial sheet?) of merchant scrip for the E.R. Marich Country Store in Bristol, N.B. Brunswick. Sheet consists of two each (front and back) of Five, Ten and Twenty-five Cent notes, with serial numbers on backs (right side of sheet) consisting of A00001, B00001, and C00001, respectively. Front of notes (left side of sheet) bear the signatures of husband-and-wife proprietors Mary Findlay (nee Marich) and Sid Findlay. Date unknown, however the couple took over the family business in 1947, until the department store was sold to an outside business in 1976. Nicely mounted in a small 26x23.5cm frame, and worthy of some further research.
