A 56mm, 106.4 gram medal in tested .999 Silver, "Awarded by the Government of Canada For Long and Efficient Service" to [engraved at bottom, front] "KENNETH F. LEFEBVRE / 1984". With Parliament Peace Tower at center in sunken center, Obv: classic right-facing portrait of Queen Elizabeth within wreath of Maple Leaves, "CANADA" overset at bottom in raised lettering. With light toning around rims and some devices, housed in original black presentation case of issue. Kenneth Francis Lefebvre devoted 35 years to the Federal Government, retiring as Chief Purchasing Agent for the Federal Reserve. A nice example of the Royal Canadian Mint-struck award, with net Silver content of 3.41 oz. (This lot is HST-exempt within Canada)
