A nine-piece set of 1950 Proof coinage from the Royal Mint, Farthing through Half Crown, housed in original red card box of issue. Coins remain quite nice, with frosted portraits of George VI on obverse, and some light variable toning on the copper. Includes the lowest-mintage British Penny of the 20th century, with only 18,000 pieces struck. Box is intact, with minor surface-damage to back-left corner of hinged spine, and there is some notable impairment of the internal felt lining. Overall a nice set of these seldom-encountered Proofs, with curren Krause value of U.S. $280.
