Greece, 2004, Silver 10 Euro Coin, Commemorating the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Swimming. With a mintage limit of 800,000 coins and made of sterling silver (.925), this coin displays bright, frosty proof fields throughout. The National Bank of Greece National Mint, issued the coin. Obverse: ‘ATHENS 2004’ in the center, surrounded by an olive branch crown, with ’10 EURO’ below in the center. Around the rim are 12 stars. All text and images are in an attractive frosted proof finish. Reverse: Two swimmers are depicted in a frosted proof finish. Specifications: Diameter: 40mm, Weight: 34 g. Composition: Silver (.925). The coin includes the original blue case and a certificate of authenticity from the mint. A fresh and attractive coin from the XXVIII Olympiad. A nice addition to any world coin collection.
