A 50mm Sterling Silver Lieutenant-Governor of New Brunswick Medal by Elkington, on 4cm blue suspension ribbon with bar. Obv: bust of Major General Hugh McLean, name and title around raised outer rim; Rev: Coat-of-Arms and vine-design panels at upper half, otherwise blank lower portion other than Elkington Birmingham 1930 date-mark at bottom rim. gEF, from the estate of Flight Lieutenant Thomas William Gregory, the ony double-recipient of the Queen's Medal while in two different services (lot includes a letter from us attesting to this provenance). A nice New Brunswick piece, and a scarcer issue.
