A lot of 22 various Canadian and American tokens and medals with numismatic themes. Most of this collection consists of Canadian medals and tokens issued by various coin clubs, societies, and associations in the late 1960s. Some of the pieces in this collection included are as follows: Three 1908-1968 Royal Canadian Mint ‘HONORING 60 YEARS OF NUMISMATIC EXCELLENCE’ medals are in both a base medal and copper finish (one copper and two base medal finishes), Two 1965 ‘Lincoln Coin Memorial’ large pennies and one ‘The Big Penny, Canada’ medal from Sudbury, Ontario, One ‘North Shore Numismatic Society Ko and Klon Twins Peaks of the North Shore’ antiqued silver base medal in card, 1990, One 1967 and one 1968 Moose Jaw Coin Club 3rd and 4th annual ‘COIN-A-RAMA’ copper finished medals, One Utah Numismatic Society metal from ‘The Blaylocks’ family, ‘coin collecting, family fun’ in antiqued bronze finish, and many more . The overall condition of the medals/tokens is fresh and displays AU and UNC details. Some pieces have dark spots and toning, especially those that are either copper or bronze, while the base-metal-finished pieces have nice, fresh designs; fields with limited wear or scratches; and nicks on a few, while others are completely uncirculated. Overall, a nice little collection of medals/tokens that highlight the various numismatic clubs/societies in North America. A great lot and addition to any collection, especially for those who collect numismatically themed items within Canada.
