A delightful 66mm antiqued bronze medal, cast for the "Ontario Hydro Coin Club" in celebration of Canada's Centennial in 1967. 150 pieces issued, moulds and lost waxes by Lothar Geist of Toronto, made at Industrial Fine Castings Limited, also of Toronto. Obv: a numismatist inspects a medallion, carrying the Canadian Centennial symbol, through a magnifying glass; Rev: the Fathers of Confederation, represented by two rows of 11 figures each. In original box of issues with certificate, and the first such example we've handled.
