An impressive 75mm, 168.8 gram medal in antiqued Sterling Silver, struck in 1987 by the Royal Canadian Mint for distribution to emloyees, in recognition of the Mint's $1 Billion sales year. Rev: four circular representations of key 1987 coins produced (Maple, Olympic $100, Loon Dollar, and a fourth unidentified medal of some type), all against a wreath of maples, tiny RCM logo at very center; Obv: billingual text at center, above and below engraved name of employee who received this particular medal, "ROYAL CANADIAN MINT" around top and lower rims in both official languages.
