A 38mm, 1 oz .999 silver medal, struck by the Royal Canadian Mint to commemorate the 2016 State Visit of Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto. Rev: symbols of the flags of Mexico (the eagle) and Canada (the maple leaf), in colour; Obv: text curved around right rim, in both English, French and Spanish: "On the occasion of the state visit of", further text at left: "Presidente / Enrique Pena Nieto / 2016". With only 200 pieces struck and distributed to both the Presidential delegation and the staffs of both country's Embassies in Canada and Mexico - an especially scarce medal, and only the second example we've encountered. (This lot is HST-exempt)
