An interesting group of items from the Royal Canadian Mint Public Presentation Centre in Vancouver, where throngs of attendees to the 2010 Winter Olympics lined up over a period of two weeks to speak with engravers, and handle examples of the unique Gold medals produced by the Mint for the games. Lot includes: (1) two fresh pair of RCM embossed cotton gloves, used to handle the medals; (2) an official staff lanyard with I.D. card attached to a unique suspension-fob containing encased striking of the Inukshuk Dollar coin, with coloured reverse; the lanyard ribbon adorned with 20 various Olympic commemorative pins; (3) a second identical lanyard and Dollar clasp, though without name-tag, and a trio of commemorative pins attached. A nice lot for the collector of RCM and/or Olympic memorabilia - note that ID name (a member of the RCM engraving team) has been obscured only in our images.
