A 38mm, 25.5 gram medal in gold-plated nickel, issued to commemorate the 1977 fiftieth anniversary of Sherritt Gordon Mines Limited. Rev: outlines of three people symbolizing "people working together". Obv: "1927-1977" at top, large "50" below, Sherritt Mint logo below; housed in red box with imprinted Sherritt name on lid, and detailed info card under lid. Offered together with a 32mm brilliant nickel "Mayor's Enviornmental Award For Students" medal, Rev: City of Ottawa crest at center, text above: "2000 Ottawa 2000", and around bottom rim "Mayor Jim Watson Maire", with his small raised signature above; Obv; large "INCO" at center, text around circumference: "The Mayor's Enviornmental Award for Students", together with French translation of same; housed in a small plush black drawstring pouch, imprinted with "INCO' in large silver letters.
